John Sullivan faked his disappearance in a skiing accident to escape his marriage for three months. His wife Wennie Castillo exhausted every effort searching for him, only to spot him partying wildly with his "girl best friend" Nancy Shawn at a bar. In the end, consumed by hatred from betrayal, Nancy pushed John off a cliff, leaving him permanently disabled.
