The Sicilian Narcissus Fields. Persephone, daughter of Zeus, chanced upon Hades, God of the Underworld, on the eve of her wedding. Cursed poison coursed through his veins, igniting an irresistible flame between them. After a single night of passion, Persephone fled in panic back to the heavens. There, she stumbled upon her fiancé Ares, God of War, in an affair with Thetis, daughter of Poseidon. Worse still, she overheard their plot: to forge a blade using her virgin blood, slay her father Zeus, and seize power. At the critical moment, Hades descended once more. He defeated Ares, yet seized Persephone and forced her into a marriage binding her to the Underworld. She fled alone into the Abyss of Utter Darkness. Hades sacrificed himself to save her and slipped into a deathlike coma. As Persephone stayed to tend to him, tender affection quietly bloomed between the two. Ares sent assassins and forged deceptive portraits to manipulate Hades into casting her out. Persephone tumbled out of the Underworld, ambushed by Ares and Thetis, who imprisoned her in a seafloor dungeon. Deceived by their lies, Zeus commanded celestial troops to march against the Underworld. Hades stood alone to face the onslaught. At the height of the crisis, Persephone swallowed the pomegranate seeds and awakened. She descended into the heart of the divine war and laid bare the conspiracy with her own words…
