The Price of Love
Evelyn, the top student of a prestigious middle school, seemed to be the perfect daughter in everyone's eyes - obedient, quiet, and never argumentative. Her mother was her homeroom teacher and always used her to demonstrate her authority in public. She got an A in math, and her mother slapped her in the face until her cheek swelled up; she ate the snacks left by her classmates secretly, and her mother pricked her mouth with a needle until it bled; when a girl from another class was caught having a crush on her, her mother forcibly stripped her naked and displayed her in the corridor. Evelyn jumped out of the window on the sixth floor corridor. Her mother rushed downstairs like crazy, found her in a pool of blood, and rescued her.
