The Nance Family Business
Suzanne is the only "sane" member of the Nance family — her mother is a serial killer, her father is a sociopath, and her brother specializes in vivisection. Five years ago, she cut ties with her family for love and married Talon. Five years later, Talon let his mistress Doreen harvest her kidney. Bleeding on the operating table, she used her last strength to text the family group chat: "Hurry. I'm dying." Two hours later, her mother walked in carrying a knife gift set from the airport, her father twirled a scalpel, and her brother adjusted his glasses and smiled. "Talon, how would you like to die?" Suzanne pretended to forgive Talon, used her brother's truth serum to control him, and reeled in the real mastermind — her uncle Langston. In the end, the Nance family cleaned house. Talon died of kidney failure. Doreen went insane in an asylum. Suzanne inherited everything and took the family business to Iceland.
