In the primeval continent, a race of shifters struggle to survive. Eira, a female blessed with the Fertility Gift, is betrayed and killed by her husband and sister. Reborn with the power of Mythic Progeny, she chooses exile and walks into the frozen wilds. There, she joins with Varian, the last Dragon Lord, an ancient beast destined to die alone. Together, they give birth to an army of mythical creatures.
