Lyra Vance, a veterinary medicine student, is locked in a freezer by her lab mates and attacked by a mutant hound. Kaelen Voss, a werewolf chief tracking his bloodlust, finds her at the brink of death. The moment their skin touches, his violent outburst is instantly suppressed. Kaelen discovers Lyra is a hybrid—her blood is the only cure for the werewolf virus. He offers her a deal: full funding for her studies in exchange for living with him and providing blood. Lyra moves into his institute and slowly gains confidence as Kaelen dismantles her bullies. But Damon Walker, a rival CEO, wants her blood too. He poisons their trust and reveals the truth—Lyra's mother was hunted by the Voss family. On the Blood Moon, Kaelen loses his power and Damon attacks. Lyra stands before him, awakening her silver light. Damon reveals the final twist: her mother is alive, imprisoned for twenty-three years. Kaelen knew all along. Lyra raises a blade to his chest—but cannot strike. They set aside their differences, rescue her mother, and destroy the Walker lab. When Kaelen's virus returns, Lyra purifies the Moonlight Spring and uses her blood to create the cure. His heart stops for three minutes during the injection—but fortunately beats again. In the end, they find their peace together.
