Puzzle of Memory

Hannah, the female lead, suffers from intermittent amnesia after an accident. For three years, her husband Aiden and his friends take turns pretending to be her husband and abuse her at will. Though she has long regained her memory, she pretends to know nothing, watching coldly as her husband cheats on his first love and abandons their family.​ During the ninth round of their twisted game, Caleb, one of Aiden’s friends, steps in voluntarily. Having secretly loved Hannah for a decade, he sincerely protects her through this cruel charade. Breaking the unspoken rules, Hannah strikes back proactively. With Caleb’s help, she exacts harsh revenge, publicly exposing the hypocrisy of Aiden and his mistress.​ In the course of her revenge, Hannah overcomes her amnesia completely. Aiden frantically tries to win her back but commits fatal mistakes. Driven by hatred, the mistress causes a traffic accident and is imprisoned. Stricken with a terminal illness, Aiden dies in remorse.​ In the end, Hannah lets go of her past, shuns worldly conflicts and lives in seclusion in the mountains. Caleb abandons his prosperous life to follow her, and the two stay by each other’s side, starting a brand‑new life together.
