I Don't Love You Anymore
The night before her wedding, Colette caught her fiancé Evander sleeping with her best friend. In a blind rage, she retaliated with three of his friends. Evander didn't care—he had her locked in a psychiatric hospital for a year. Now discharged, she finds herself unable to love him anymore. Through her ex-best friend's taunts, his friends' degradation, and Evander's threats and pleas, she stays ice-cold. One phone call ends it all. She flees to her parents' graves in a remote village. Evander chases her down, begging on his knees in the rain. But when Louisa hurls sulfuric acid in revenge, Evander shields Colette with his own body. In the hospital room, staring at his burned back, she finally says it: "I don't know how to love you anymore." Then she walks away, never looking back.
