Reborn goddess Persephone returns to the day her grandfather divides his inheritance. She rejects the trillion-dollar divine empire and picks three fate seals, while her adopted sister Eris, also a rebirth, seizes all the sacred gold. Eris hires Ares-blooded mercenaries to burn Persephone's fate threads, petrifies their parents, frames Persephone as a disaster star and exiles her to the wasteland. On the verge of death, Hades, Lord of the Underworld, reveals the truth of tampered fate. He tears open his domain to create illusions, tricking Eris into confessing her crimes publicly. Persephone activates the last seal to broadcast the admission. Eris's ill-gotten gold turns to ash; she is burned by mercenaries and trapped in an incurable rotting curse. Persephone lifts her parents' petrification, repels shadow beasts and purges corrupt Olympus elders. After Eris dies alone in agony, Persephone takes full control of the Fate Loom. Hades offers her the lifeline of the Underworld, and the two rewrite the laws of all realms to rule both the living and the dead together.
